Job Description

Publicis Sapient is looking for highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Global FP&A to join our dynamic Finance team. As a part of a growing agency, you will leverage your exceptional problem-solving abilities, Excel skills, demonstrated expertise in generating actionable analytics, and unwavering commitment to achieving tangible results and accuracy. Through the combination of creative and strategic thinking, and a focus on the smallest details, the efforts of the Global  Financial Reporting team have a significant impact on the company’s results. This position will be an experienced 
finance leader possessing strong project management skills, with a passion for creating actionable analytics and a desire to achieve exceptional results in a fast paced environment.

Your Impact:

  • Provide guidance and work closely with Global CFO and Senior leadership through analysis of company operations and by providing financial reporting as a basis for strategic decisions and improving operating performance
  • Collaborate and provide direction, guidance, mentorship and prioritization to country level reporting teams
    • Ensure efficiency and consistency of planning across divisions 
    • Provide thorough recommendations to solve business issues and implement “best practices”
    • Prioritize and streamline tasks to ensure accuracy of financial information that is being shared across the organization at different levels
  • Support Global CFO to co-ordinate all information gathering including KPI and other metrics
    • Report financial risks and provide insight on financial implications of change
    • Drive best practices in financial reporting and the global consolidation process
    • Assist in the preparation of various presentations or supporting materials
    • Ad hoc analysis, projects, and other duties as assigned
  • Monthly, Quarterly and Annual financial analysis (Budget, Forecast and Actuals)
    •  Participate in month-end financial statement reviews for accuracy 
    • Partner with the regional and local Controllership teams in monthly and quarterly closes to understand and be able to explain all significant variances to budget/forecast
    • Scrutinize forecasted expenses to understand their substantiation, and ensure expenditure by nature is on track
  • Lead initiatives, including model building and refining, forecasting, and other in-depth analyses from start to finish
    • Develop solid working understanding of the company’s planning and reporting tools (HFM, Oracle and SAP)
    • Extensive modeling to predict growth, conversion, profitability, capacity and cash flows, as well as, potential opportunities and risks
    • Ensure financial standards and verify finance teams are preparing financial information using approved 
      company financial reporting tools & procedures

Qualifications

Your Skills and Experience:

▪ 7 to 10 years of experience within FP&A or Financial/Management Reporting

▪ Experience in leading projects and tracks of work through to completion

▪ Committed, detail oriented, self-starter with strong problem solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to 

work independently

▪ Ability to meet deadlines and work in time sensitive environments

▪ Excellent communication skills to clearly and accurately convey complex metrics and analysis to internal teams 

and all levels of management

▪ Demonstrated ability to theorize, develop and refine creative financial/operational models 

▪ Experience in leading projects and tracks of work through to completion

▪ Perceptive discernment to identify problems, understand and be able to explain variances, evaluate consistency 

of financial information reported by agencies and calculate and project results

▪ Proficiency in interpreting financial results and key ratios to analyze and project trends

▪ Executive presence necessary to work with senior level management

▪ Strong Excel skills including experience with financial/operational model building 

▪ Hyperion Financial Manager and/or Oracle experience preferred 

▪ Thrive under pressure and deadlines in a fast paced organization

Additional Information

Pay Range: $108,000 - $210,000

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
