Resource/Staffing Manager

As a Staffing Partner at Publicis Sapient, your primary responsibility is to support the success of our business through leveraging talent in the most efficient way possible, while balancing individual career aspirations and growth desires. You will balance multiple high-priority assignments while developing partnerships across the business to provide the highest level of customer service, ensure revenue, profit and growth goals are achieved through balancing optimum deployment of existing people and execution of robust fulfillment strategies. You will leverage your exceptional project management and people skills to promptly deliver high-quality staffing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solve for fulfillment challenges, risks and escalations by providing talent options through collaboration with business and capability leadership teams as well as talent acquisition
  • Oversee the direction, fulfillment, and reporting of day-to-day staffing requests
  • Analyze availability and account prioritization against near term pipeline to strategically place talent in the most effective roles (both for the business and the individual)
  • Focus on employee skills, aspirations and career goals when casting
  • Deliver high quality staffing solutions promptly
  • Use a data-driven approach to achieve goals
  • Build strong partnership/network relationships across the business to provide the highest levels of customer service
  • Effectively balance multiple high-priority assignments
  • Efficiently pool talent from multiple locations
  • Contribute to reporting for utilization trends and forecasts
  • Maintain an inventory of core skills and track team members’ skills by proficiency, frequency, and context of use
  • Ensure new hires are equipped to make an impact on their projects by providing project-specific guidance/familiarization
  • Maintain and communicate key information to Staffing Leads about current projects, pipeline and talent forecast and provide daily job status updates to team members

Your Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of Industry or Project/Program Manager experience; Proven ability to manage complex initiatives to successful completion
  • 2+ years of Talent Management experience; ability to effectively manage in a “matrixed” environment
  • Excellent Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, filtering, and sorting, etc.)
  • Ability to take complex issues or situations and present them in a simple and easy to follow manner
  • Excellent customer service skills including the ability to react appropriately in stressful situations and deal with difficult client situations diplomatically
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills operating with absolute professionalism and confidentiality
  • Strong organizational awareness and change management skills; time management and organization/multi-tasking skills 
  • Relationship management and influencing skills
  • Proven ability to manage complex initiatives to successful completion
  • Knowledge of process improvement and facilitation
  • Strong communication and consultative skills at all levels
  • Service-oriented attitude (flexible, personable, approachable)
