Job Description
The Instructional Designer will work with the Project Manager and/or Learning Strategist to create innovative learning modules for online, ILTs, and eClassroom, as well as supporting materials following an instructional design process. The Instructional Designer will use strong interpersonal, written, and visual communication skills to bring together engaging, interactive learning solutions on a variety of subject matter (leadership, process, systems, skills) and educate our stakeholders and partners.
Your Impact:
- Partners with learning strategist or others to determine what materials need to be created to support learning objectives.
- Independently creates design documents that articulate how the learning solution will be structured and how the objectives will be achieved.
- Formulates learning objectives that meet the performance gap or opportunity (using Bloom’s taxonomy)
- Writes course outlines, summaries, storyboards, visualizes and develops wireframe documents based on learning objectives and reflective of detailed design document.
- Develop activities and instructional approaches based on learning objectives that enhance learning experience.
- Research relevant content to include in learning solutions (content curation) • Manages multiple projects simultaneously throughout the project life cycle.
- Understands the dynamics of relationship with each Stakeholder and people in the team and utilizes the understanding to seek clarifications, share advice and convey right yet difficult decisions. Key Success Trait Requirements

Your Skills & Experience:
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Excellent team player
- Creative thinker with a good eye for design and presentation (composition of text, graphics, and color)
- Ensures that technology maximizes the learner experience and adheres to corporate branding requirements
Key Success Trait Requirements:
- Experience in instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy)
- Well versed in MS Office Suite
- Working knowledge of AdobeConnect, Webex to design eClassrooms (webinars)
- Experience in using standard authoring software including, but not limited to: Articulate Presenter, Storyline, GoAnimate (or equivalent animation tools)
- Knowledge of SCORM compliance requirements.
