Job Description
The Intern Marketing will support developing and executing internal communication initiatives to support the organization's goals and initiatives. The intern will gain experience in a variety of internal communications practices, including employee engagement, content development, and change management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and distribution of internal communication materials such as email newsletters, announcements, and presentations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and develop content for internal communications.
- Organize and update databases using tools such as Excel, Mailchimp, and Populo.
- Support the development of internal communication plans and strategies.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives.
- Assist with employee engagement activities, such as town hall meetings, employee activities, and team buildings.
- Research best practices in internal communications.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the marketing team.
- Support the logistics and coordination of office-related tasks
- Coordinate and maintain relationships with vendors
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in communications, graphic design, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and editing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Proficient with Design tools, including Canva, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere and Final Cut.
- Knowledge of internal communications best practices and principles.
- People-oriented, with skills to interact and engage with different audiences.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
