Job Description

We are looking for Endur architects with a good understanding of energy/commodity trading business to join our team of thought leaders and expert thinkers to solve clients’ complex and challenging problems. You’ll use your business and technical acumen to design and develop solutions to support the front-to-back trade lifecycles in Endur. You will partner with our prestigious clients on their exciting Digital Business Transformation (DBT) journey. You should have hands-on experience in designing and developing customizations in Endur with in-depth knowledge and experience in extension technologies like OpenJVS and/or OpenComponents plus strong fundamentals in OOPS and Solid principles. Your Impact:

  • Create design artifacts for clients by bringing good Endur package expertise and relevant business, Subject matter expertise to the table.
  • Provide leadership in every phase of the project lifecycle—from concept development to solution design, implementation, optimization, and support.
  • Utilize a deep understanding of Endur design principles and configurations in creating a solution for the client
  • Contribute to designing and implementing the build, and release process as well as system configuration and deployment characteristics of the application.
  • Contact person for the technological aspect on the customer side.
  • People Management, Estimation, Planning, Work Allocation, etc.  Drive continuous improvements within teams. Also responsible for technical and professional growth of Endur package teams.
  • Applies their understanding of the limits of the tool and discusses the tradeoffs in the design phase vs. implementation
  • Work with client’s technology lead for design and implementation work.

Qualifications

Your Skills & Experience:

  • 9-13 years of overall professional experience. Candidate must have performed the role of an Endur architect for 1-2 years in the implementation and management of extensive design and implementation projects with complex system architectures in the Endur.
  • Experience of at least 3-4 ‘live’ Endur projects with hands-on experience in OpenJVS or OpenComponents
  • Should understand the Endur Architecture and devise ways to optimize its strengths for the client solution. Understands hosted solution patterns – on-premise vs cloud
  • Understanding the usage of OO design principles to create modular, extensible, and reusable code 
  • Hands-on experience in creating design deliverables and solution architect documents.
  • Fair understanding of the ETRM/CTRM domain with experience in at least two asset classes e.g. Power, Natural Gas, LNG, crude and products, etc.       

Set Yourself Apart With:

  • In-depth understanding of any of cloud systems and cloud concepts – Azure, AWS, GCP
  • Experience working on other ETRM/CTRM packages e.g. right angle allegro, eka, etc
  • Understanding of Agile scrum and Kanban methodologies. Participated actively in agile ceremonies like sprint planning, retro, sprint refinement, etc
  • Understanding of concepts like CI/CD and Dev Ops

A Tip from the Hiring Manager:

The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of ETRM and excellent communication skills. They must have worked on at least 3-4 complete lifecycles of projects. Worked in cross-cultural teams, in an agile manner and should have worked with clients directly. Keen to learn the latest cloud and analytics technologies to optimize their trading landscapes and value chains. Candidate must have deep expertise in energy and commodities domains, and the entire ETRM ecosystem.
